About this guide
journeywebprism.com is an independent, informational guide to planning multi-stop road trips: putting stops in a sensible order, pacing the drives and turning a wish list into a route you can follow.
What this site covers
The guide focuses on the planning work that happens before you leave: grouping stops into clusters, choosing between a loop and a one-way route, estimating realistic daily drives, attaching bookings and notes to each day, and preparing the plan for areas without mobile signal.
It also compares three ways of holding an itinerary (spreadsheets, notes apps and dedicated trip planner apps), so you can pick the tool that fits the size of your trip.
How the guides are written
-
Who it is for
Drivers planning a trip with several stops: a family weekend, a ten-day one-way route, a city-hopping week or a mountain loop. No prior planning experience is assumed.
-
How it is researched
Advice is based on widely used planning practice: official road and ferry information, rental terms, opening hours and the way map services estimate drive times. Figures such as daily driving limits are presented as starting points, not rules.
-
How it is kept current
Pages are reviewed periodically and when something they describe changes, for example an app feature mentioned as an example. Because apps and local rules change, always confirm details with the official source before you travel.
-
Editorial independence
This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any app, rental company or brand it mentions. Apps such as Wanderlog appear only as examples. How the site is funded is explained in the Disclaimer.
